Collection Manager

CREDIT AND COLLECTIONS DEPARTMENT

Job Description

• Graduate of any four-year Business course.
• At least four (4) to five (5) years of relevant collection experience, preferably in financing, lending, banking, or financial services.
• With supervisory or managerial experience handling collection teams, target setting, performance monitoring, and collection strategy implementation.
• Strong product and process knowledge, including collection policies, recovery procedures, account monitoring, and applicable legal requirements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, listening, analytical, problem-solving, client relationship, and people-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with professionalism and strong work ethics.

Qualifications

• Lead and monitor internal and external collection operations to achieve recovery, productivity, service, and departmental targets.
• Analyze total and slide collection performance, identify trends and gaps, and develop strategies to improve recovery and minimize outstanding credit.
• Establish collection goals, deadlines, policies, procedures, and controls, and ensure compliance with company recovery standards and applicable legal regulations.
• Provide direction on customer negotiations and non-payment cases, and coordinate with branches, Customer Service, Legal, and external collection companies.
• Review monthly collection results, prepare performance reports, and drive improvement initiatives for collection efficiency, account recovery, and team productivity.
