
System Administrator

Job Description
• Administer, maintain, and monitor servers, networks, cloud systems, storage, operating systems, and other IT infrastructure to support availability, performance, reliability, and data integrity.
• Manage approved user accounts, permissions, access rights, storage allocations, and system configurations while maintaining proper access controls and confidentiality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve server, system, storage, access, and infrastructure concerns, and coordinate with IT teams, vendors, and service providers to minimize downtime.
• Support system setup, configuration, patching, upgrades, backups, recovery, restoration, testing, cybersecurity monitoring, and infrastructure improvement projects.
• Maintain accurate system documentation, configuration and inventory records, access logs, network references, and escalate recurring issues, security risks, critical concerns, or process gaps.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or any related field.
• At least two (2) years of experience in system administration, IT infrastructure, server administration, technical support, network support, or systems support.
• Strong knowledge of servers, operating systems, networking protocols, access management, system monitoring, storage, and IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V and exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft, Azure, AWS, OCI, or VMware are preferred but not required.
